TONIGHT SHOW & LATE NIGHT Win The Week Of 7/30-8/3 In Every Key Demo Image

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has claimed the late-night ratings week of July 30-Aug. 3 over its ABC-CBS timeslot competition in adults 18-49 and every other key demographic - adults, men and women 18-34; men and women 18-49; and adults, men and women 25-54 -according to "live plus same day" figures from Nielsen Media Research.

"Tonight" won the 11:35 p.m. hour for the week over both "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" by a +25% margin in adults 18-49 (with a 0.45 rating vs. a 0.36 each for Colbert and Kimmel), which marks "Tonight's" biggest advantage versus a week of "Late Show" originals since June 11-15 (+26%, 0.49 vs. 0.39).

Note that Fallon and Kimmel aired Friday encores last week and NBC's Thursday shows were delayed by a primetime NFL overrun.

Last week's "Late Night" topped "The Late Late Show with James Corden" in every key ratings category, while posting a +61% margin of victory in adults 18-49 (0.29 vs. 0.18).

For their head-to-head half-hour, "Late Night" beat ABC's "Nightline" in adults 18-49, total viewers and every other key ratings measure, including a +28% margin in adults 18-49 (0.32 vs. 0.25 for that half-hour).
