TODAY Ties w/ GMA in Key Demo Rating for Third Straight Week

NBC's TODAY continues to post short term and long term growth in the key demo A25-54. TODAY posted a 1.6 rating in A25-54 and tied with GMA for the third straight week. During the last 4 weeks, since the start of Daylight Saving Time, TODAY has narrowed the demo gap by 71% (106,000 viewers) versus the previous four weeks. Year-to-date, TODAY was number one in A25-54 rating during 11 of 14 weeks (includes 10 ties).

TODAY Highlights:

TODAY posted a 1.6 rating in A25-54 (1.889 million) tying with GMA's 1.6 (1.952 million). TODAY topped CBS This Morning in A25-54 by +78% (+7 tenths).
TODAY tied GMA in the A25-54 rating for the third straight week.
During the last 4 weeks (3/11-4/7/13) -, since the start of Daylight Saving Time), TODAY has narrowed the demo gap by 71% (106,000 viewers) versus the previous four weeks (2/11-3/10/13).
Year-to-date, TODAY was #1 in rating A25-54 during 11 of 14 weeks (includes 10 ties).
TODAY averaged 4.636 million total viewers topping CBS This Morning by nearly 2 million viewers.

TODAY II (9 a.m. hour) and TODAY III (10 a.m. hour) Highlights:

TODAY II (3.108 million total viewers, 0.9 A25-54 rating)

The View (3.102 million total viewers, 0.7 A25-54 rating) has trailed TODAY II in total viewers for the third straight week and in four of the past five weeks.

TODAY III

TODAY III (1.984 million total viewers, 0.6 A25-54 rating) remaining ahead of its March average.

The Chew (2.139 million total viewers, 0.6 A25-54 rating) tumbled to its lowest P2+ audience since the week of August 27, 2012.
