Building on a year of successful original programming that included ratings highs among Adults 25-54 (Real Fear: The Truth Behind the Movies) and Adults 18-34 (Can You Survive a Horror Movie?), Chiller will continue to grow its offerings for 2012-2013. Its upcoming programming slate includes four all-new projects: its first-ever anthology film, two new installments in the popular Chiller 13 countdown franchise and original movie The Monkey's Paw, featuring Stephen Lang, Corbin Bleu and Charles S. Dutton.

ORIGINAL MOVIE

THE MONKEY'S PAW

After Jake Tilton acquires a mystical "monkey's paw" talisman that grants its possessor three wishes, he finds his world turned upside down after his first two wishes result in his malevolent coworker, Tony Cobb, being resurrected from the dead. When Cobb pressures Jake into using the final wish to reunite Cobb with his son, his intimidation quickly escalates into relentless murder – forcing Jake to outwit his psychotic friend and save his remaining loved ones.

The Monkey's Paw stars CJ Thomason (Harper's Island) as Jake, Stephen Lang (Avatar) as Cobb, Michelle Pierce (Days of Our Lives) as Olivia, Tauvia Dawn (Level 26: Dark Prophecy) as Abby, Corbin Bleu (High School Musical) as Catfish and Charles S. Dutton (Legion) as Detective Margolis.

The Monkey's Paw is adapted from the renowned short story by W.W. Jacobs. The film is written by Macon Blair and directed by Brett Simmons. Ross Otterman will produce for TMP Films, LLC. The Monkey's Paw will air on Chiller in 2013.
