Tonight's episode of THE FOSTERS heads to the great outdoors as Lena and Stef decide it is time for a family camping trip. With al of the drama surrounding the Adams-Foster family, I couldn't agree more with taking an unplugged vacation. Unfortunately, just because they leave civilization behind, doesn't mean their drama was left with it.

Callie and Brandon are having trouble getting their relationship back to normal (perhaps because nothing has ever been normal between the two of them?) Stef and Lena argue about their "Good Cop/Bad Cop" parenting method. Jesus is struggling to keep everything that is going on in his life (i.e.... his tattoo of his girlfriend's name & his birth mother's pregnancy) from his family.

Mariana starts the episode by complaining about the family camping trip, because she wants to stay and audition dancers for her new dance team. She has to keep the auditions on the down-low because Hayley's in the next room with Jesus. In his room, Jesus is confused by Hayley's being upset with him (again?!) this time because he is abandoning her to go camping with his family. What a jerk, spending time with his family. Anyway, while he was saying goodbye to his girlfriend, Brandon was saying goodbye to Lou, which was awkwardly interrupted by Callie. Lena introduces Stef to twerking (resulting in a very sweet moment for the two). The sweet moment turned into a bit of an altercation when Stef lets Lena know that their roles in the parenting of the kids are defined. Lena is the one the kids go to for consoling and Lena is the one they go to when they need a push. In the car on the way to the campsite, Jesus blurts out that Ana is pregnant to Lena.

Ana is at a doctor's appointment where she finds out that she is having a girl. Mike is with her, which doesn't help the "Is he the father?" rumors. Lena tries to be the disciplinarian regarding Jesus's news, but ends up laughable. She asks Jesus to tell Stef as if she is being told first to make her feel better. Mariana tells Callie that they are going "glamping" whatever that means. Lena and Stef are setting up their tent when Brandon and Jude ask to go swimming. When Jude goes to his tent to grab his stuff, he finds Jesus...and his tattoo. When Jude asks how he is going swimming without their parents fining out about it, he ends up wearing a shirt over his swimming trunks. Before swimming, he goes to confide in Stef about Ana. Stef and Lena discuss the situation on a nice walk, and wonder if Mike is the father of the child Ana is carrying. Callie warns Jude not to go too deep into the lake and he decides not to go in anymore. I wonder what is going on in that head of his. Callie apologizes to Brandon about their awkward encounter earlier.

The Adams-Fosters camping trip is supposed to be tech free, but Stef can't handle not knowing about Mike and goes looking for her phone, and all of the kids have their phones too. Lena confiscates them, but not before Jesus finds out Hayley is at a nearby campsite. He starts to freak out because she wants to meet up with him, but he can't go. Without their technology, the family decides fishing will be fun. Later the night around the campfire, Callie sings "She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain" which was delightful. When Mariana requested for Brandon to sing "Outlaw", the song he wrote for Callie, it was revealed that he and Lou are dating (which apparently the parents didn't know...that can't be good for his summer touring plans). Jesus asks Brandon to come with him to meet Hayley, but he needs to stay in their parents' good graces. About an hour later Jesus hadn't returned and Jude gets worried.. Jude continues to feel left out when Brandon goes looking for him. After a couple of hours, Jude goes to tell his moms that his brothers are missing. After they search in the men's room, the run into Hayley. Meanwhile, a lost Jesus and Brandon are getting frustrated. They think they see a bear, but it;s their parents-and Hayley. The next morning, Stef and Lena discuss the previous night and being stuck with Hayley (Stef's words, not mine.) Mariana and Hayley talk about how brave Mariana was for quitting the team, and how lonely Hayley feels now that her parents are divorced. Mariana tries to convince Hayley to join her dance team.

Callie jokes with Brandon about Lou potentially meeting them in the woods too. They start to have a nice conversation, but when Callie adds gasoline to the fire Brandon overreacts. Seeing Jude go off on his own, Callie follows him which ends up with him yelling at her to stop treating him like a kid. He then snarkily tells Brandon that he never told their moms about Hayley, just that his brothers were lost. Props to Jude for speaking p! I'm glad he isn't holding back anymore.

Brandon and Callie talk about Jude and his outburst, as well as their relationship. It is made clear that they want to be just friends, which and this is an unpopular opinion, is a good thing for them. At least right now. Mariana shows Hayley some choreography she's been working on. I don't trust that Hayley won't run to her captain and leak the info, especially because she spilled the beans about Ana pregnancy. Mariana, upset that she didn't here it from her twin, revealed his tattoo secret to their moms. Uh oh...

Lena and Stef try to discipline Jesus about the tattoo, but get caught up in their own argument. Jesus finds Hayley and finally breaks up with her. What made it even more satisfying for me was the way that she dropped Mariana's dance team within the minute of their breakup. Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Haley. Or do...I don't care either way. At Mike's, he gives Ana some orange juice and it is revealed that he is not the father of her child (thank goodness!) Brandon, Jude and Callie reconcile their relationship by jumping into the lake. The rest of the family joins in soon after. That was such a sweet way to end the episode! I'm so glad the episode ended that way.
