Sugarland will reunite a family who lost their home in the tornado that devastated the community of Joplin, Mo. at the 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS in Nashville. The Gilbert family survived, but experienced a total loss of their home on May 22. Since that time, parents Amy and Eric have been living with friends and working to rebuild their lives, while their two daughters stay with family members a few hours away. Unable to share more than a few hours together since the storms, the family will reunite to be part of Sugarland's performance at the 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS, airing live on Wednesday, June 8 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on CMT.

The Gilberts and their story came to the attention of the network, and show producers immediately began collaborating with Sugarland on creating a special moment within the Awards Show to raise awareness and funds for the hundreds of thousands of families affected by the devastating storms, flooding and tornadoes. Sugarland then invited the Gilberts to participate in their performance of "Stand Up," a song the duo recently released on iTunes with download proceeds going to the American Red Cross. Viewers can visit www.redcross.org, call 1-800-RED CROSS or text "REDCROSS" to 90999 to make a $10 donation to support the American Red Cross Disaster Relief efforts.

The 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS will be hosted by Kid Rock and will air LIVE from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, June 8 on CMT and CMT.com. Performances for the award show include Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Big & Rich, Toby Keith, Zac Brown Band and Luke Bryan. Presenters during the 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS include Shania Twain, Sara Evans, Justin Bieber, Sheryl Crow, "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery and runner-up Lauren Alaina, Train, Kristin Chenoweth, Melissa Peterman, "Dancing With The Stars" winner Hines Ward, Green Bay Packers' Clay Matthews and Mary Steenburgen.
