Grand Marshal Mitchell - George Mitchell has served as a U.S. Senator, U.S. Special Envoy for Middle East Peace and the chairman of the Northern Ireland Peace Talks and now he'll lead the St. Patrick's Day Parade as Grand Marshal. Mitchell joins us to discuss his latest role and talk about the current discord in Washington D.C.

From Undocumented to Detective - When Luke Waters was in his 20s, he traveled from Ireland to the U.S. and remained in the country after his visa expired. He worked as a bartender before joining the NYPD where he would spend two decades rising up the ranks to become a leading homicide detective. Now retired, Waters joins us to talk about his decorated career, his experience as an undocumented Irish immigrant and how that inspired his new book, "NYPD Green."

Easter Rebellion's NY Roots - This year marks the centennial of the Easter Rebellion, an uprising in Dublin that led to the establishment of the Republic of Ireland, and by extension, a new Irish identity. Surprisingly, much of the philosophical and financial support for this movement originated in New York. Politico New York Senior Editor Terry Golway joins us to talk about this little-known connection in history.
