Sponsors Revealed for NBC's THE NEW CELEBRITY APPRENTICE, Premiering This January
Twelve world-class brands will be featured when NBC's THE NEW CELEBRITY APPRENTICE kicks off Monday, Jan. 2 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT) with twice-elected California governor, international movie superstar and successful businessman Arnold Schwarzenegger reigning over the boardroom.
"There is such excitement building around the new season of 'Celebrity Apprentice' and to have these brands come on board with Arnold at the helm only adds to what we can do this time around." said executive producer Mark Burnett. With a long history of revolutionizing brand integration on television, "The New Celebrity Apprentice" welcomes the following sponsors: Tyra Beauty, Trident, Welch's, King's Hawaiian, Kawasaki USA, See's Candies, Lorissa's Kitchen and Universal Studios Hollywood, along with the L.A. Clippers, QVC, The Honest Company and Carnival Corporation. King's Hawaiian, Universal Studios Hollywood and QVC are all returning sponsors, and Carnival Corporation is sponsoring this season's finale. "We are so excited to have this incredible line-up of sponsors on board and can't wait to bring their products to life through fun, engaging tasks that will help boost consumer awareness and expand outreach for these high-profile companies," said Schwarzenegger. Many of the companies that have partnered with "The Apprentice" franchise have achieved impressive sales results. Here are sales highlights from a few recent seasons: In 2015, as part of an overall strategic marketing plan for King's Hawaiian, "The Celebrity Apprentice" helped drive sales growth by 30% within the month of the airing. · In 2013, "The Celebrity Apprentice" generated a direct lift of 12% to Crystal Light Liquid sales for the week following the airing of the episode. · In 2012, Walgreens brand opinion increased 42% and shopping consideration increased 36% following the airing of the episode. "The Celebrity Apprentice" has raised more than $15 million for charity since the 2007 premiere of the "Celebrity" version of the franchise. Sixteen celebrities are set to compete for their favorite charities when the show shifts from New York to Los Angeles for its eighth season. This season's winner will gain the coveted title of Celebrity Apprentice and receive a $250,000 check to give to their designated charity. The female contestants competing are four-time boxing world champion Laila Ali, actress/TV host Brooke Burke-Charvet, TV host/actress Carrie Keagan, Olympic gold medalist/WNBA star Lisa Leslie, reality TV star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, "Real Housewife of Beverly Hills" star Kyle Richards, "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Porsha Williams and singer Carnie Wilson. Playing on the men's team are NFL Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson, Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Boy George, "American Ninja Warrior" host Matt Iseman, reality TV star/fashion guru Carson Kressley, comedian and actor Jon Lovitz, Motley Crue lead vocalist Vince Neil, UFC standout/mixed martial artist Chael Sonnen and football star/analyst Ricky Williams.
