Spanish-Language Comedy Special Entre Nos: Part 1 Debuts 6/16 on HBO Latino

HBO LATINO® will bring audiences laughter with the debut of the hilarious stand up comedy special Entre Nos: Part 1 on Friday, June 16th at 9:30 EST. Directed by Joke Yanes and Adolfo Nowak, the 30-minute comedy special hosted by Alex Marin y Kall (aka "Eseway") features no-holds-barred stand-up sets from Colombian comedienne Lisa Pereira and Mexican comedienne Mónica Escobedo. The special will air across all of the channel's platforms including HBO NOW®, HBO GO®, HBO On Demand® and affiliate portals.

Filmed at Los Angeles' El Portal Theater, Entre Nos: Part 1 covers topics including difficulties being single, body image, why men are happier, when to DELETE Tinder, and much, much more in this brilliantly witty show. ABOUT THE COMEDIANS:

ESEWEY

Alex Marín y Kall, better known as Esewey, is a comedian with years of experience in the comedy world. On top of a lengthy career as a multidimensional comedian, he is also a blogger, announcer and screenwriter. Esewey has done it all-even becoming a rocker. Since 2011, he decided to devote himself to his on-stage career, entertaining audiences with one-of-a-kind jokes that make us burst into laughter.

LISS PEREIRA

Pererira, a social media influencer, became known on the radio as the DJ from RadioAktiva. In this role, she announced reggateon, pop and plancha hits while saving money for college tuition. Through this youth radio station, she became one of the most beloved DJ/announcers, not only for her knowledge of music, but also for her charm and good energy during her daytime show El Gallo (The Rooster). Among her many qualities, the Cucuta-native is also recognized for her ability to make different voices and create fictional characters, like "Miguelito," a boy who claimed to be THE SON of César Augusto Londoño, a fan of Barcelona known for his critical commentary that many find appealing.

MONICA

Monica Escobedo is an actress, presenter and comedian. After trying her luck in all of these areas, she developed a passion for comedy. "The stand-up genre is going through one of its best moments right now. And while at first people didn't really 'get' it, today it's one of the most sought-after fields, and that fills me with pride because it means we're going in the right direction, opening many doors," shares Escobedo. Her stand up touches on current issues-like relationships and breakups.
