Sarah Silverman to Write and Star in New NBC Series

According to Variety, Sarah Silverman is set to write and star in a new NBC series about a woman adapting to the single life after getting out of a long relationship.

Silverman will write the show with Dan Sterling and John Schroeder.

Silverman first gained notice as a writer and occasional performer on Saturday Night Live. She starred in and produced The Sarah Silverman Program, which ran from 2007 to 2010, on Comedy Central. Silveman starred on Broadway in 24 Hour Plays.
