SUPERNATURAL to Celebrate 200th Episode With Tribute to Fans

Staying true to the show's traditions, the upcoming 200th episode of SUPERNATURAL will incorporate ideas and opinions from the show's fandom. The episode, titled 'Fan Ficition', follows Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) as they investigate a case at an all-girls school in the midst of mounting a musical based on 'Supernatural' novels.
"The writers are very aware of what the fans think, and the fans are, I think, very aware that the writers are very aware of what they think," Padalecki stated "So we've been able to kind of poke fun of ourselves in a way that we knew the fans would enjoy because they've kind of asked for it."
SUPERNATURAL is now in its tenth season, despite writer Eric Kripke's original plan for three seasons. The series has become prominent in popular culture, stemming numerous comic books, novels, and spin-offs. The show has enjoyed critical acclaim as well, winning numerous People's Choice Awards, SFX Awards, Constellation Awards, and many more.
