Rosie Perez Reveals She Would Gladly Return as Guest Host of THE VIEW

Speaking with PEOPLE at last night's USTA Foundation Opening Night Gala for the U.S. Open, former 'View' host Rosie Perez shared that she would happily return to the ABC talker if asked to guest host.

"I think I will be back to visit the ladies," the actress told PEOPLE, adding, "I love them, and I love the show, it was just time."

Perez exited the show in early August to spend time focusing on her acting career. She called her time on the show "bittersweet", admitting it was "crazy, it was fun, it was hard, it was everything. It was like life."

The actress recently starred in Larry David's FISH IN THE DARK. Her tther Broadway credits are THE RITZ, RECKLESS, THE PLAY WHAT I WROTE and FRANKIE AND JOHNNY IN THE CLAIR DE LUNE. She will next appear on the big screen in FIVE NIGHTS IN MAINE and recently starred in the films PITCH PERFECT 2, FUGLY!, THE BEING EXPERIENCE, GODS BEHAVING BADLY and THE COUNSELOR. Perez has also appeared on TV in THE CLEVELAND SHOW, LIPSTICK JUNGLE and more.
