Republican Strategist Dick Morris Dropped from Fox News

In a recent turn of events, FOX News has decided not to renew Republican strategist Dick Morris' contract, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Morris publicly predicted throughout the past few years that Barack Obama would fail to win the presidential election in 2012. Morris was proven wrong, obviously. Since Obama's reelection, the Democrat-turned-Republican has been featured less and less as a contributor on many of Fox's programs.

Unlike Morris, Karl Rove's contract was renewed through 2016 by the right-skewing network, even amid his apparent meltdown on election night.

Morris is set to appear on CNN's Piers Morgan TONIGHT - so we'll see whether he confirms the news or not.
