Regal Entertainment Group, a leading motion picture exhibitor owning and operating the largest theatre circuit in the United States, today announced its national partnership with Atom Tickets, the first-of-its-kind theatrical mobile ticketing platform and app. The app launched in select markets across the U.S. with Regal earlier this year and is projected to support over 7,300 screens by the end of the year.

Atom's technology enables Regal to further engage customers and drive attendance by utilizing Atom's social invitation features and pre-ordering of tickets and concessions. Atom adds convenience to the customer experience at every step of the movie-going process, from recommending movies that a customer loves to skipping the lines at the theatre. Customers will also be able to seamlessly integrate their Crown Club membership into the app, so they will continue to earn rewards.

"At Regal, we continue to look for innovative ways to make the overall movie-going experience enjoyable for our guests," said Amy Miles, CEO at Regal Entertainment Group. "In working with Atom Tickets, we've found a partner that enables our guests to experience an innovative way to order their concessions and tickets to the movies in advance. With the continued growth in mobile ticketing, we are thrilled to be Atom's first national exhibition partner and integrate Atom in all of our locations throughout the US by the end of the year."

"Atom Tickets is focused on connecting customers with the movies that they will love," said Ameesh Paleja, Atom Tickets co-founder and CEO. "Partnering with Regal enables us to reach an enormous audience of passionate moviegoers and we are excited to combine our best in class technology platform with their incredible theatrical experience to drive incremental audiences to the movies."

Atom Tickets is designed to make movie-going simple. Movie fans can use the service to purchase tickets and concessions, coordinate and invite friends without having to pay for them, and skip the lines at the theater. The free app is available in both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

"We want to thank the entire Regal team for their support over the last year. Through our partnership and national rollout, we'll bring the most modern movie-ticketing platform and the best customer experience to all Regal guests," said Matthew Bakal, Atom Tickets co-founder and Executive Chairman.

For consumers, Atom Tickets reimagines the most convenient way to plan a night out. The app provides relevant reviews, trailers and synopses information to help users make a decision on what to see. Then, with a few clicks, movie-goers can seamlessly invite friends to the same show and order tickets and concessions to skip all the lines in the theater. Upon arrival, consumers redeem their tickets by simply scanning their QR code at tablets located at the usher and concession stands in the theater. For movie-goers there are no paper tickets and no IOUs.
