Raul Gonzalez, Rashel Diaz Host MISS UNIVERSE PAGEANT IN SPANISH on Telemundo Tonight

Telemundo announced that TV stars Raul Gonzalez and Rashel Diaz will host the much anticipated live broadcast of the "Miss Universe®" beauty pageant in Spanish tonight, January 25, 8pm/7c. The evening will begin at 7pm/6c with Telemundo's special "Camino a la Corona," the pre-show where hosts Guad Venegas and Jessica Carrillo give viewers the exclusive opportunity to meet the Latina contestants before they compete for the world's top beauty crown.

This will be the first time for Raul Gonzalez, one of the best-known personalities in U.S. Hispanic television, hosts the Spanish-language broadcast of "Miss Universe®" on Telemundo. Having debuted on the Telemundo screen as a co-host of the "Latin Billboard Music Awards" this year, Raul's career spans multiple theater and music productions, and top-rated radio and television shows, in addition to receiving important awards in both his native country Venezuela and in the United States.

Rashel Diaz, co-host of "Un Nuevo Día," Telemundo's Emmy award-winning morning show, has served as host of previous editions of "Miss Universe®" on Telemundo, as well as "Miss Universe Puerto Rico" and "Camino a la Corona." She was named as one of the "25 Most Beautiful Latina Stars" by People en Español. In addition, Rashel has hosted other network specials such as "Celebremos Juntos en esta Navidad," "Detrás de la Fama" and the Red Carpet of the "Latin Billboard Music Awards," among others.

A rising star in U.S. Hispanic television, Guadalupe "Guad" Venegas currently serves as the entertainment reporter on Telemundo's "Al Rojo Vivo with María Celeste." Born in Southern California to Mexican parents, Guad was a familiar face as the host of "¡mun2 Pop!," "18 & Over" and "The mun2 Arena" on cable channel mun2. In addition to co-hosting the "Latin Billboard Music Awards" Red Carpet and "Billboard Mexican Music Awards," he has co-hosted the 2013 "Miss Universe®" broadcast from Russia, and in 2012, "Camino a la Corona."

Jessica Carrillo is the West Coast correspondent of "Al Rojo Vivo with María Celeste." She also hosts the Spanish-language version of NBC's popular show, Access Hollywood, as a weekly segment in Al Rojo Vivo. Born in Jalisco, this Mexican beauty has been part of important Telemundo network specials such as the "Premios Tu Mundo" Red Carpet and the "Billboard Mexican Music Awards," as well as the "Alma Awards" on Telemundo.com. She won the hearts of the nation's West Coast viewers during her years as a co-host of "Acceso Total" in Los Angeles and as news anchor at the Las Vegas station.
