According to Deadline, ratings for last night's Super Bowl blow out, in which the Seattle Seahawks trampled the Denver Broncos 43 - 8, were the lowest for the big event since 2010.

The telecast earned a 47.6/70 in overnight ratings for FOX and the NFL. Although this number marks a 1% decline from last year's game between Baltimore and San Francisco which aired on CBS, the Face Off still managed to make the list of Top 5 Super Bowls ever.

The championship, which lasted approximately 3 1/2 hours and included an electrifying half time performance from Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, (watch it here!) was the lowest in 4-years, since the 46.4/68 ratings that the New Orleans Saints 31-17 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in 2010 earned for CBS.
