RATINGS: TONIGHT SHOW Delivers Its Biggest 18-49 Margin Since November

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has won the late-night ratings week of April 15-19 in adults 18-49 by a +20% margin over "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," according to "live plus same day" figures from Nielsen Media Research.

It's the biggest advantage for "Tonight" over a week of Colbert originals since Nov. 19-23, 2018 (0.77 vs. 0.43, +79%), Thanksgiving Week, when NBC benefited from a high-rated overrun of a primetime NFL football game that Thursday. Excluding weeks of big NFL boosts, it was Fallon's biggest margin since Sept. 17-21, 2018 (0.50 vs. 0.35, +43%).

"Tonight" ranked #1 versus "Late Show" and "Kimmel" for the wek in all key demographics - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 (including a tie in men 18-34).

"Tonight's" strong week was paced by the Monday, April 15 telecast, which delivered the show's biggest overall audience in nearly seven weeks. Averaging 2.664 million viewers, the Monday episode was the show's most-watched since Tuesday, Feb. 26 (2.738 million, with guests Tyler Perry and Sarah Hyland, and musical guest Weezer), the night of the "Voice 16" Tuesday premiere.

The April 15 telecast, the first "Tonight Show" to dedicate its full hour to a Broadway musical, featured Cher and the stars of Broadway's "The Cher Show" - Stephanie J. Block, Teal Wicks and Micaela Diamond.

Last week at 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" ranked #1 versus "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and "Nightline" in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and all other key measures.

Season to date, Meyers also leads both "Late Late Show" and ABC's "Nightline" in "most current" averages in every key ratings category.
