RATINGS: NBC Ties for #1 in 18-49 for the Primetime Week of 2/11-17

NBC has tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks in primetime ratings for the week of Feb. 11-17 in adults 18-49 and finished #2 in total viewers, according to "live plus same day" viewership figures from Nielsen Media Research.

NBC's strong week was paced by "This Is Us" and "America's Got Talent: The Champions," which tied for #3 among primetime programs on the Big 4 networks in the key 18-49 demographic. Also leading NBC last week were "Ellen's Game of Games" (#5), "Chicago Med" (tied for #8), "Chicago Fire" (tied for #10), "Chicago P.D.," "Manifest" and "Titan Games" (tied for #12) and "New Amsterdam" (tied for #19).

NBC finished #1 for the week in adults 18-49, tied with FOX with 0.9 ratings each, and NBC delivered more 18-49 viewers (1.2 million vs. 1.1 million). NBC also ranked #1 or tied for #1 for the week among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 25-54, adults 18-34 and all key adult-female demos.

Season to date, NBC ranks #1 or tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and all key adult-female demographics.

Weekly ratings are "live plus same day" figures from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date ratings are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Monday

NBC wom the night in adults 18-49, total viewers and adults, men and women 25-54.

"America's Got Talent: The Champions" (1.7 rating in 18-49, 10.4 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) delivered a series high in total viewers. Growing by +6% week to week in both 18-49 (1.7 vs. 1.6) and total viewers (10.4 million vs. 9.8 million), "AGT: Champions" ranked as the #1 show of the night in total viewers and adults 25-54. The Feb. 11 episode was up +6% versus NBC's season average in the timeslot prior to "AGT: The Champions" in 18-49 (1.7 vs. 1.6, L+SD) and by +1.8 million persons or +21% in total viewers (10.4 million vs. 8.6 million).

"Live Plus 35 Day Plus Digital" Ratings: "AGT: The Champions" has grown by +47% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 1.71 to a 2.52).

"Manifest" (1.1 rating in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) equaled the show's 18-49 high since Nov. 5 (1.2) and deliverd its most-watched episode since Nov. 12 (6.1 million), jumping week to week by +22% in 18-49 (1.1 vs. 0.9) and +15% in total viewers (6.0 million vs. 5.2 million). The Feb. 11 "Manifest" ranked #1 in the timeslot among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key demographic. L+7: "Manifest" has increased by +123% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 1.31 to a 2.92) and +6.3 million viewers overall (6.7 million to 13.1 million). The gain of +1.61 rating points in 18-49 is the #2 biggest L+7 lift on television this season (behind only "This Is Us") and the increase of +6.341 million viewers is television's #1 biggest L+7 gain. L+35+Digital: "Manifest" has grown by +314% in adult 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 1.31 to a 5.42).

Tuesday

NBC won the night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and every other key demographic (including a tie in men 25-54).

"Ellen's Game of Games" (1.5 rating in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) ranked as the #2 show of the night in adults 18-49, behind only "This Is Us" and won the 8 p.m. hour among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and adults, men and women 18-34. Week to week, "Games" grew +7% in 18-49 (1.5 vs. 1.4), and from half-hour to half-hour grew in every key measure, including a gain of +23% in adults 18-49 (1.3 to 1.6). L+7+Digital: "Game of Games" is growing by +31% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7+Digital (from a 1.59 to a 2.08).

"This Is Us" (1.7 rating in 18-49, 7.4 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) was the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49, winning the timeslot by a +70% margin in adults 18-49 (with a 1.7 rating vs. a 1.0 for CBS' #2 "FBI"), and also takes the time period among those networks in all other key demographics. L+7: "This Is Us" is increasing by +84% in 18-49 rating (from a 2.18 to a 4.01) and more than +5.5 million viewers overall (8.7 million to 14.3 million) going from L+SD to L+7. The gain of +1.83 rating points in 18-49 is the #1 strongest average L+7 lift on television this season and the increase of +5.544 million viewers is television's #3 biggest L+7 gain. L+35+Digital: "This Is Us" has grown by +232% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 2.18 to a 7.23).

"New Amsterdam" (1.0 rating in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) won the timeslot among the ABC, CBS and NBC dramas in adults 18-49 by a +25% margin (1.0 vs. 0.8 for CBS' "NCIS: New Orleans"), and also ranked #1 in the timeslot among those dramas in adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and all key adult-female demos. "New Amsterdam" maintained a steady 1.0 rating in adults 18-49 for a fourth consecutive telecast. L+7: "New Amsterdam" has grown by +102% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.25 to a 2.52) and more than +5.3 million viewers overall (6.4 million to 11.8 million) going from L+SD to L+7. The gain of +5.334 million viewers is the #4 biggest L+7 lift on television so far this season. L+35+Digital: "New Amsterdam" has grown by +238% in the 18-49 demo going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 1.25 to a 4.23).

Wednesday

NBC won the night in total viewers with the #1-2 shows of the night, "Chicago Med" and "Chicago Fire," and ranked #2 in 18-49 with the "Chicago" dramas all finishing #2 or tied for #3 shows of the night. NBC's Wednesday schedule of "Chicago" dramas has ranked as the #1 regular lineup in total viewers on 14 of the 14 Wednesdays it's aired so far this season.

"Chicago Med" (1.3 rating in 18-49, 8.7 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) scored as the #1 most-watched show of the night on the Big 4 networks and was the #2 show in 18-49, behind only Fox's "The Masked Singer." "Med" ranked #1 in the 8-9 p.m. timeslot in adults 18-49, total viewers, adults 25-54 and every other key measure (including a tie in men 18-34). L+7: "Med" is increasing by +59% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 1.24 to a 1.97) and +3.1 million viewers overall (8.2 million to 11.3 million). L+35+Digital: "Med" is growing by +117% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 1.24 to a 2.69).

"Chicago Fire" (1.1 rating in 18-49, 8.4 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) ranked the #2 show of the night on the Big 4 in total viewers, behind only "Chicago Med," and tied as the #3 show in 18-49 behind only "The Masked Singer" and "Med." "Fire" won the timeslot in total viewers, beating "The Masked Singer" by +7% (8.4 million vs. 7.8million). L+7: "Fire" is growing by +71% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.26 to a 2.15) and more than +3.6 million viewers overall (8.0 million to 11.6 million) going from L+SD to L+7. L+35+Digital: "Fire" is increasing by +134% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 1.26 to a 2.95).

"Chicago P.D." (1.1 rating in 18-49, 7.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) won the timeslot among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and every other key measure, delivering the most-watched "P.D." episode, excluding crossovers, in more than three years (since Jan. 13, 2016, 8.0 million). "P.D." tied as the #3 show of the night in 18-49, behind only "The Masked Singer" and "Chicago Med." L+7: "Chicago P.D." is increasing by +92% in 18-49 rating this season going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 1.11 to a 2.13) and more than +4.0 million viewers overall (7.0 million to 11.0 million). L+35+Digital: "P.D." has grown by +165% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 1.11 to a 2.94).

Thursday

"The Titan Games" (1.1 rating in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) jumped +22% week to week in 18-49 (1.1 vs. 0.9) and +6% in total viewers (4.4 million vs. 4.1 million) and outscored by +38% NBC's average in the timeslot this season prior to "Titan Games" in 18-49 (1.1 vs. 0.8, L+SD non-sports) and by more than +1.5 million persons or +54% in total viewers (4.4 million vs. 2.8 million). L+7+Digital: "Titan Games" is increasing by +54% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7+Digital (from a 1.45 to a 2.24).

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (0.8 rating in 18-49, 2.6 million viewers overall from 9-9:30 p.m. ET) was up +14% versus what the show averaged last season in 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.7) and up +46% in total viewers (2.6 million vs. 1.8 million) and matched NBC's average in the Thursday 9-9:30 timeslot this season prior to "B99" in 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.8). L+7+Digital: "B99" has grown by +166% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7+Digital (from a 0.97 to a 2.58).

"Will & Grace" (0.7 rating in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall from 9:30-10 p.m. ET) built by +15% on its lead-in in total viewers. L+35+Digital: "Will & Grace" has increased by +213% in the 18-49 demo going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 0.80 to a 2.50).

"Law & Order: SVU" (0.8 rating in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) tied for #1 in the hour among the ABC-CBS-NBC dramas in adults 18-34 and women 25-54 and took the timeslot outright in women 18-34. Week to week, "SVU" maintained 100% in 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.8) and grew in total viewers (4.181 million vs. 4. 164 million).L+35+Digital: "SVU" is growing by +254% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 0.92 to a 3.26).

Friday

"Blindspot" (0.5 rating in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) ranked #2 or tied for #2 among the Big 4 nets in the timeslot in adults, men and women 18-34.

"The Blacklist" (0.6 rating in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) matched its season high for a Friday telecast in adults 18-49, maintaining 100% week to week in 18-49 (0.6 vs. 0.6). L+7+Digital: "Blacklist" is increasing by +133% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7+Digital (from a 0.57 to a 1.33).

"Dateline NBC" (0.6 rating in 18-49, 0.8 in adults 25-54, 3.0 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) grew +0.1 of a point or +20% week to week in adults 18-49 (0.6 vs. 0.5), maintained 100% in adults 25-54 (0.8 vs. 0.8) and increased by +8% in total viewers (3.0 million vs. 2.8 million), to equal the show's adult 18-49 high since Dec. 14 (0.8).

Sunday

The NBC Movie of the Week "How to Train Your Dragon" (0.5 rating in 18-49, 2.4 million viewers overall from 7-9 p.m. ET) grew +50% from its first half-hour to its fourth in adults 18-49 (0.4 to 0.6) and +29% in total viewers (2.1 million to 2.7 million).

The NBC Special "Elvis All-Star Tribute" (0.6 rating in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET), for its second hour from 10-11 p.m., won the timeslot among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers. The special was up +16% versus NBC's non-sports average in the timeslot last season in total viewers (5.5 million vs. 4.7 million).
