Telemundo's "Señora Acero" ranked as the #1 Spanish-language program at 10pm delivering 1,270,000 among adults 18 to 49 on premiere night, according to Nielsen. Starring Blanca Soto in her Telemundo debut, the series premiere also delivered 2,120,000 total viewers. "Señora Acero" helped Telemundo garner a 48% share of Spanish-language broadcast television among adults 18-49, and 44% among total viewers in the 10pm time slot. On the heels of the highly-rated "El Señor de los Cielos," this original production is one more example of Telemundo's innovative super series concept -- returning scripted drama series that are edgier, action packed and faster paced than traditional novelas.

The highly anticipated premiere ranked #1 among adults 18-49 and total viewers, regardless of language, in the time period in Miami and was the #1 Spanish-language program in its time period in Chicago among total viewers, and in Philadelphia among adults 18 to 49. Additionally, "Señora Acero" was the most buzzed-about series among Hispanic networks, in terms of Tweets and Twitter impressions, according to Nielsen Social. The show's official hashtag #SraAcero, generated over 59MM impressions.

Produced by Argos Television and filmed in various locations around Mexico, "Señora Acero" tells the story of Sara Aguilar Bermudez (Blanca Soto), a stunningly beautiful, charismatic and intelligent woman who goes from housewife to someone capable of shaking up the entire structure of a government. After the unexpected murder of her husband Vicente Acero, Sara learns that her late husband was not the man she thought. From that moment, her life and her son's life become an endless battle to escape authorities and the enemies of her late husband.
