Phylicia Rashad to Star in NBC's DO NO HARM

TV Guide reports that Phylicia Rashad has been added to the cast of the pilot episode for NBC's Do No Harm, slated to play Dr. Vanessa Young. Young has a co-worker, Jeffrey Kohl, with a dangerous alter-ego named Ian Price. That alter-ego attempts to destroy him. The pilot is written and produced by David Shulner and directed by Mcihael Mayer. 

The cast also includes Steven Pasquale as Kohl, Alana De La Garza, Ruta Gedmintas, Mousa Kraish and Michael Esper. Best known for playing the mother, Clair Huxtable, on The Cosby Show, Rashad currently stars in Good Deeds, a Tyler Perry film. She's also been seen in For Colored Girls, Change of Plans, Just Wright, Psych, and A Raisin in the Sun. 

Rashad's stage credits include Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, August: Osage County, Cymbeline, A Raisin in the Sun, Into the Woods, Dreamgirls, and The Wiz.
