Entertainment Weekly has a first look at Jessica Chastain in Guillermo del Toro's upcoming gothic horror film CRIMSON PEAK. Check it out below!

Set in the 19th century, "the film stars Mia Wasikowska as a new bride who discovers that her husband (Tom Hiddleston) is a tad...off." Jessica Chastain plays Wasikowska's sister-in-law.

Chastain told EW the role "was really draining, emotionally and spiritually. The experience took more out of me than anything I'd ever done. When I finished I had to take some time off."

Chastain made her Broadway debut in the revival of 'The Heiress' opposite Dan Stevens. She has received major accolades for her roles in films like Ralph Fiennes' CORIOLANUS, John Madden's THE DEBT, John Hillcoat's LAWLESS, Jeff Nichols' TAKE SHELTER, Terrence Malick's THE TREE OF LIFE and Tate Taylor's THE HELP. She was recently seen on the big screen in Andrés Muschietti's MAMA and Katherine Bigelow's Zero Dark Thirty, for which she recently won Best Actress at the National Board of Review, the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama. Her current projects include MISS JULIE and INTERSTELLAR.
