Photo Flash: Original HAIRSPRAY Film Cast Members Re-Unite for First Time In 30 Years
During rehearsals at producer Mandee K. Hammerstein's home in Bucks County, fellow cast members (Clayton Prince & Joey Perillo) from the 1988 original film "Hairspray", reunite for the first time in 30-years. Prince ("Seaweed") and Perillo (Security Guard) exchange fond, movie-making memories, while talking future theatrical goals, all in anticipation of working together again on the New Feathers Production Stage this month.
Opening night for New Feathers is November 1stwith six shorts and is directed by Perillo. November 15thPrince and Perillo will co-star in two of three one-acts, John Augustine's "Celebrity" and John McDonnell's "Secedin' From Eden, at the James A. Michener Art Museum.
Other cast members for the production include Judith Lightfoot Clarke, Clayton Prince, Joey Perillo, Megan Malloy, Tyler Horn, David Levy, Sarah LeClair and Nyiema Lunsford. November 1st performers are Hayden Saunier, Christopher David Roche, Brianna Lynn, Keith Maliszewski, and Alexandra Voelmle.
