Victor Frankenstein is an upcoming American horror film based on contemporary adaptations of Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein directed by Paul McGuigan and written by Max Landis. The film stars Daniel Radcliffe as the hunchback Igor and James McAvoy as the scientist Victor Frankenstein. The film is scheduled to be released by 20th Century FOX on October 2, 2015.
Told from Igor's perspective, we see the troubled young assistant's dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Victor Von Frankenstein, and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man who created the legend we know today.
