Paul Wesley Joins Billy Magnussen & Kim Cattrall in Upcoming CBS All Access Series TELL ME A STORY

According to Entertainment Weekly, Paul Wesley (Vampire Diaries) has booked his next TV role on CBS All Access' Tell Me a Story. Wesley joins The Originals' Danielle Campbell, as well as Billy Magnussen and Kim Cattrall in the series from TVD co-creator Kevin Williamson.

According to Deadline, which first reported the casting, Tell Me a Story will reimagine a number of beloved fairy tales as a psychological thriller. Specifically, season 1 will interweave The Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, and Hansel and Gretel into "an epic and subversive tale of love, loss, greed, revenge, and murder."

As for Wesley, he joins the cast in the lead role of Eddie, a bartender, low-level drug dealer, and part-time thief who struggles with his own problems with drugs and alcohol.Williamson will executive produce the series, which was given a straight-to-series order on CBS All Access.

Wesley appeared opposite Amber Tamblyn in the 2008 CBS television film The Russell Girl, and had the lead role in the 2007 ABC Familyminiseries Fallen opposite Bryan Cranston and Tom Skerritt. Wesley has had a number of roles in television shows such as 24, 8 Simple Rules, American Dreams, Army Wives, Cane, Everwood, Guiding Light, Smallville, and The O.C.. Most recently, Wesley starred as Stefan Salvatore in the hit television series THE VAMPIRE DIARIES on The CW.

His theater work includes the co-lead in the well-received off-Broadway production Cal in Camo at the Rattlestick Theater in New York City. He was also the co-lead in Sensitive Skin written by Shem Bitterman. In March 2018, Wesley joined the New York Theater Workshop's production of Zurich in New York City.
