THE BRINK is adding to its ensemble cast.

According to Deadline, Tony nominee and ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK star Pablo Schreiber, Maribeth Monroe and Geoff Pierson have signed on for HBO's upcoming pilot, lead by Tim Robbins and Jack Black.

THE BRINK is directed by Jay Roach with a script by Roberto and Kim Benabib. The comedy centers on a geopolitical Crisis and what happens to U.S. Secretary of State Walter Hollander (Robbins) - a Foreign Service officer (Black), and a Navy fighter pilot (Schreiber). Aasif Mandvi is set to play Rafiq Massoud, a Pakistani who works for the U.S. embassy.

Monroe (WORKAHOLICS), will take on the role of "Kendra Willis, Deputy Chief of Staff and lifeline to the hard living Secretary of State (Robbins)."

Pierson (DEXTER), "will play Pierce Mullin, the hawkish Secretary of Defense."

The actor is best known for his role as Nick Sobotka on HBO's Baltimore drug-related crime drama The Wire and Netflix's Orange is the New Black. He was nominated for a Tony Award for his Broadway debut performance in Awake and Sing! Other TV and film credits include The Manchurian Candidate, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, A Gifted Man and Lights Out.
