OLIVIA SOMERLYN to Perform at Annual Oscars Pre-Awards Dinner Party

Just back from opening for super group Big Time Rush on the band's South American tour, Olivia Somerlyn is honored to have been asked to perform at Sony Pictures Classics' Annual Oscar®Pre-Awards dinner party hosted by STK, Moet & Chandon and Fiji Water.

For Olivia, this is just the newest addition to an already impressive resume. The fresh-faced 19-year-old singer, songwriter, pianist and guitarist created some serious buzz in 2013; Armed with a dedicated fan base of "Somerlovers," a group constantly growing in number, and backed by some music industry heavyweights (she is managed by Kevin Jonas Sr.), Olivia has toured with Jessie J, Big Time Rush, Victoria Justice and The Jonas Brothers, to name a few. With a wealth of videos posted to her own Youtube channel, the San Francisco native makes worldwide fan engagement a top priority, and with almost 53,000 Twitter followers, over 35,000 Facebook friends and more than 29,000 Instagram followers, it shows. With numbers like these, it is easy to see why Olivia is regularly a worldwide trending topic on Twitter.

Sure to be documenting the experience on her impressive social media pages, this weekend will find Olivia performing for all of SPC's nominees and invited guests, a group led by its Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress nominees Cate Blanchett and Sally Hawkins, respectively, for their performances in Woody Allen's BLUE JASMINE. SPC will also honor Richard Linklater, Julie Delpy, and Ethan Hawke for Best Adapted Screenplay for BEFORE MIDNIGHT and Michael O'Connor, nominated for Best Costume Design for THE INVISIBLE WOMAN. Other invited celebrities and VIP guests will complete the intimate guest list including SPC Co-Presidents Michael Barker and Tom Bernard.
