Nicki Minaj has joined fellow American Idol judge Mariah Carey in officially leaving the FOX singing competition show. Today, May 30, Minaj confirmed the news via Twitter.

Minaj wrote: "Thank you American Idol for a life changing experience! Wouldn't trade it for the world! Time to focus on the Music!!! Mmmuuuaahhh!!!?"

Minaj's time on American Idol was largely characterized by her feud with fellow judge/diva Carey.

IDOL staple Randy Jackson also recently announced that he'd be leaving the panel come next season - since then, daily reports have surfaced that FOX is looking to not only give Keith Urban the boot - but long-time producer Nigel Lythgoe as well.

The confirmation also comes just a week after reports emerged that IDOL execs were on The Hunt to replace all of the current judges with former contestants, notably Jennifer Hudson and the show's first winner, Kelly Clarkson. Last week, The Hollywood Reporter announced that Hudson had entered final negotiations to settle into a judge's chair - as of now, there hasn't been any confirmation as to if her deal is dry or not.

Audition cities and dates for IDOL Season 13 include Salt Lake City on Wednesday, July 10; San Francisco, CA, on Tuesday, July 16; Detroit, MI, on Sunday, July 21; Atlanta, GA, on Friday, July 26; Boston, MA, on Friday, Aug. 2; Austin, TX, on Wednesday, Aug. 7; and Omaha, NE, on Sunday, Aug. 11.

Now that Idol's feuding judges are gone, how do you think the show will fare? Who would you like to see in the judge's chair?
