Nic Luken and More Join Cast of CMT's NASHVILLE Season 6

Get ready for more drama on season 6 of NASHVILLE, as 5 new recurring characters will join the cast, as reported by Deadline. The new additions are Josh Stamberg (THE AFFAIR), newcomer Jake Etheridge, Rainee Lyleson (LOVE IS NOW), Nic Luken (RIDE) and Dylan Arnold (WHEN WE RISE).

Stamberg will play Darius, a charming creator of a positive self-realization movement. Etheridge will play Sean, a military vet suffering from PTSD who fails to see his musical talent. Lyleson will take on the role of Alannah, a new-to-town singer-songwriter who starts off as a back up singer, but will soon be discovered and thrusted into the limelight. Luke will portray Jonah Ford, a confident, charismatic pop star. Finally, Arnold will take on the role of Twig, a funny friend of Jonah's who keeps him in check by his presence in his entourage.

NASHVILLE is set against the backdrop of the city's music scene and follows Rayna Jaymes and Juliette Barnes. Both women face personal and professional challenges as they navigate their paths as artists and individuals. Surrounding them, and often complicating their lives, are their family, friends and, in some cases, lovers, as well as the up-and-coming performers and songwriters trying to get ahead in the business.

Music City can mean so many things to different people. In Nashville, musicians and songwriters are at the heart of the storm driven by their own ambitions. Some are fueled by their creativity and passion for fame. Others struggle to cope with the pressures of success and are doing everything in their power to stay on top.

Season 6 of NASHVILLE (the second season to be on CMT) is currently filming in the titular city. The new season will premiere on January 14.
