Broadcasting from iconic, fun and glamorous locations in and around Hollywood, the weekly entertainment news program "On The Red Carpet" will premiere nationwide in national syndication the weekend of September 14, 2013.

"On The Red Carpet" gives viewers a V.I.P. ticket to star-studded premieres and awards shows as well as behind-the-scenes access to their favorite TV series and movies. Exciting and engaging, "On The Red Carpet" delivers a half-hour of celebrity interviews, TV's current trends and major movie news, all from a variety of locations each week. Built on a strong and growing brand, "On The Red Carpet" produces entertainment news that's positive and upbeat, and stars showcase their passion for work as well as their life off of the set. The program is hosted by Rachel Smith, Miss USA 2007 and a contributor on "Good Morning America."

Beginning the weekend of September 14, "On The Red Carpet" is expanding its reach to over 93% of the country and 169 markets. The program launched in eight markets -- New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Houston, San Diego, Fresno and Raleigh/Durham -- in 2010. Since its inception, "On The Red Carpet" has been embraced by some of the biggest celebrities in the industry including Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Bryan Cranston, George Clooney, Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Oprah, Brad Pitt, Channing Tatum, Sofia Vergara and Kerry Washington. Unlike most entertainment programs, the show does not tape in a studio. In addition to Hollywood, it has shot from such other locations as Australia, London, New York, Hawaii, Nashville, Las Vegas and Vancouver.

The program's first national show will kick off with reporting from the Toronto Film Festival, New York Fashion Week, the red carpet premiere of "The Family" and the home entertainment release party for "Star Trek Into Darkness." Plus, it will feature interviews with the stars of "New Girl," "Modern Family" and "Sons of Anarchy," as well as upcoming new series "Brooklyn Nine Nine" and "Back in the Game."
