'New Girl' Star Max Greenfield Joins Cast of AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL

Ryan Murphy took to Twitter over the weekend to announce that NEW GIRL star Max Greenfield has joined the cast of the fifth season of the horror anthology series AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL.

Tweeted Murphy: This October, Max Greenfield (like you've never seen him) is checking in to the hotel....but not checking out

The 'Glee' creator did not share details as to Greenfield's role or how many episodes he will appear in. The actor joins previously announced cast members Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Chloe Sevigny, Evan Peters and Angela Bassett.

Production of the 13-episode Hotel will begin in Los Angeles in late summer, and will air on FX in October. The AMERICAN HORROR STORY franchise is produced by Twentieth Century FOX Television.
