If last year's finale of Netflix's GILMORE GIRLS: A YEAR IN THE LIFE left you yearning for more, you just may be in luck!. Over the weekend, Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos, told the U.K.'s press association that streaming network is currently in "very preliminary" talks with Gilmore Girls creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino for another revival of the hit series.

"We hope [there are more installments]. We obviously loved the success of the show, fans loved how well it was done, it delivered what they hoped," said Sarandos, adding that "the worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favorite show to come back and for it to disappoint you, but they sure delivered and people were really excited about more, and we have been talking to them about the possibility of that."

GILMORE GIRLS: A YEAR IN THE LIFE, premiered on Netflix on Friday, November 25th. The four, 90-minute movies, brought favorite Stars Hollow residents back together, including Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham), Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel), Emily Gilmore (Kelly Bishop), Luke Danes (Scott Patterson), Sookie St. James (Melissa McCarthy) and many more. Sutton Foster and Christian Borle also made guest appearances. The films picked up nine years after the original series signed off the air.
