National Theatre Live continues its third season with encore screenings of Academy Award winner Danny Boyle's production of FRANKENSTEIN, starring 2012 Olivier "Best Actor" Award Winner Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller.

National Theatre Live is an initiative by the UK's National Theatre to broadcast live performances onto cinema screens around the world. FRANKENSTEIN, a new play by Nick Dear based on Mary Shelley's novel, will be filmed twice for National Theatre Live to allow cinemagoers to see Cumberbatch and Miller alternating the roles of Victor Frankenstein and the Creature.

The encore broadcasts, which were originally captured live in March of 2011, conclude the third season of National Theatre Live. The fourth season begins in cinemas and arts centers this fall. The first three seasons of NT Live were seen by over 700,000 people on over 700 screens in 22 countries. The titles and dates for the fourth season of NT Live will be announced soon.

In the New York City area, screenings continue at the Brooklyn Academy Of Music (BAM), NYU's Skirball Center, City Cinema 123, the Shakespeare Theatre Company (DC) and more.

The broadcast will also be shown on screens across the United States including the newly added Downtown Independent in Los Angeles, Amherst Cinema in MA, the Angelika Film Center in Dallas, Cedar Lee Theatre in Cleveland Heights, OH and many more.
