NBC's TODAY Slashes Gap with GMA

NBC's TODAY continues to gain momentum posting across-the-board ratings growth. For the week of April 14, TODAY was the only morning program to post A25-54 rating gains week-to-week, while GMA declined among the demo viewers. TODAY grew +2% (+44k) versus the prior week, and slashed the gap with GMA by a giant 44%. TODAY also posted total viewer growth week-to-week.

Season-to-date, TODAY ranks as the #1 morning news broadcast among A18-49, posting 43 straight weeks of wins. TODAY is posting double-digit, year-over-year audience growth across the board - in total viewers (+11%, or +490,000), rating A18-49 (+18%), and rating A25-54 (+13%).

TODAY HIGHLIGHTS:

· TODAY was #1 for the week in all 18-49 demo ratings
· TODAY extended its winning streak in A18-49 rating to 43 consecutive weeks

· Week-to-week, TODAY gained +1% in total viewers and was the only morning news program to post gains in rating W/A25-54 (+5%/+6%)
· Among A25-54 viewers, TODAY grew +2% (+44,000) versus the prior week and cut the gap with GMA by 44%. GMA declined -4% week-to-week among demo viewers.

· Season-to-date, TODAY ranks as the #1 morning news broadcast among women/men/adults 18-49 and men 25-54
· TODAY is posting double-digit year-over-year audience growth in total viewers (+11%, or +490,000), rating W/A18-49 (+13%/+18%), and rating W/A25-54 (+10%/+13%)
