On the eve of the U.S. presidential election, America will have another vital decision to make on NBC's three-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series THE VOICE.

On the special two-hour episode airing Monday, Nov. 7 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT), the Top 20 artists - five artists per team - will all perform on one night for a coveted spot in the Top 12.

During the intense telecast, which also marks Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys first live show appearance, "The Voice" opens up voting like never before through a first-ever real-time vote via" The Voice" Official App and Twitter. Fans will be able to advance two artists per team into the Top 12 and, for the first time ever, results will be revealed on the same night.

Throughout the show, coaches Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will then make the nail-biting, immediate decision to save one artist each to complete their roster, while the others are sent home.

The remaining 12 artists will then move on to the final live-show phase of the competition, which begin on Monday, Nov. 14.

During the live playoff telecast, viewers can cast up to 10 votes per artist per team via "The Voice" Official App, which is available for download on the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore here: (http://www.nbc.com/VoiceApp) or they can vote through Twitter at the show's official handle @NBCTheVoice.

Viewers in the Eastern and Central time zones will be able to watch and vote during the live show.

Viewers in the West and Mountain time zones will also be able to cast their vote on "The Voice" Official App and tweet their choice at the same time as the Eastern and Central time zones if they are following the @NBCTheVoice handle, which will announce which artists are eligible.

"The Voice" will also go behind the scenes with four Facebook Live segments hosted by Jeff Dye (NBC's "Better Late Than Never"). After the voting results and coach save from each team are revealed, the three remaining artists on each team will sit down with Dye immediately after they step off stage in the fun, newsdesk-style show. The Facebook Live show will serve as an extension of the real-time voting story on air with each artists' real-time reaction to voting results - access that fans have never been given before.

So far this fall, "The Voice" has averaged a 3.5 rating in adults 18-49 and 12.9 million viewers overall in "most current" results from Nielsen Media Research. It continues to rank as television's #1 alternative series in adults 18-49, a status the show has maintained over the past four seasons. With both its editions ranking in the top 10 among entertainment telecasts on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 this season, "The Voice" remains a key contributor to NBC's consistent nightlong wins among those nets on both Monday and Tuesday nights.

"The Voice" is a presentation of MGM Television, Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Jay Bienstock, Lee Metzger and Chad Hines.
