NBC's THE VOICE is Monday Night's No. 1 Show in Total Viewers

THE VOICE improved on its 8-9 p.m. hour of the previous week (3.8 vs. 3.7) and from the comparable episode of the prior cycle (3.8 vs. 3.5 on May 7 from 8-9).

"The Voice" is #1 for the night in total viewers on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.

* From 8-9:01 p.m. ET, "The Voice" (3.8 rating, 10 share in adults 18-49, 12.2 million viewers overall) won the 8-9 p.m. ET hour among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and is up versus 8-9 p.m. results for the prior week (3.7) and the comparable episode of the prior "Voice" cycle (3.5 that hour on May 7). "The Voice" was the #1 show of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers. From its first half-hour to its second, "The Voice" grew in all key ratings categories.

* From 9:01-10:01 p.m. ET, the premiere of "Take It All" (2.2 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and total viewers ahead of Fox's "American Country Awards" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall in that hour) and ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 5.7 million viewers overall). "Take It All" out-rated the hour's Fox and ABC competition in all other key ratings categories.

* At 10:01 p.m. ET, "Michael Bublé: Home for the Holidays" averaged a 1.4/4 in adults 18-49 and 5.8 million viewers overall, and ranked #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in the hour in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and other key demos. "Michael Bublé: Home for the Holidays" is up 13 percent versus NBC's average in the time period last season in total viewers (5.752 million vs. 5.106 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:

* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.8/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.4/6; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 2.9/7; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.4/4.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.6/3; "Nightline," 0.8/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

* At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.4/2).

* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated. Season figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."
