NBC's THE VOICE Tops 'Bachelor Finale' in Total Viewers & Key Demo

NBC's THE VOICE (3.0/10 in 18-49, 12.2 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) is the #1 program of the night in adults 18-49 and total viewers and wins the 8-10 p.m. time period versus ABC's finale of "The Bachelor" in 18-49 (3.0 vs. 2.8) and total viewers (12.2 million vs. 9.5 million).

Despite this week's start of Daylight Saving Time and last night's special competition from the "Bachelor" finale, retains 94% week to week in 18-49 (3.0 vs. 3.2) and grows versus the same episode of the prior cycle in total viewers (12.227 million vs. 12.152 million on Oct. 5).

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - season to date, Monday's "Voice" has grown by +24% going from L+SD to L+7 in 18-49 rating (from a 3.12 to a 3.88) and more than 2.2 million viewers overall (12.0 million to 14.3 million).

"Blindspot" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 6.5 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) is the #1 scripted show of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49.

Retains 100% week to week in 18-49 (1.7 vs. 1.7) and 99% in total viewers (6.498 million vs. 6.588 million), despite last night's special competition from ABC's "The Bachelor: After the Final Rose") and ranks #1 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in in men 18-49 (tie) and men 25-54.

Will grow dramatically via time-shifting and VOD viewership:

L+7: "Blindspot" has increased by +78% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 2.33 to a 4.14) and more than 5.5 million viewers overall (8.3 million to 13.9 million) going from L+SD to L+7. "Blindspot" is the #1 series on the Big 4 this season in viewership gains going from L+SD to L+7 (+5.533 million).

L+3: Last week's "Blindspot" grew by +64% going from "live plus same day" to "live plus three day" ratings in 18-49 (1.71 to 2.80) and by 3.5 million viewers overall (6.6 million to 10.1 million). "Blindspot" delivered Monday's biggest L+3 lifts in 18-49 rating (+1.09) and total viewers (+3.5 million)..

Upscale: "Blindspot" is generating a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 126 among adults 18-49 living in home with $100K+ incomes ("most current," including L+3).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.4/6; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.3/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.4/6.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

For the Week: With "The Voice" and "Little Big Shots" accounting for four of the week's top five primetime shows on the Big 4 networks in both adults 18-49 and total viewers, NBC has won the week of March 7-13 by both measures, according to "live plus same day" results from Nielsen Media Research.

Sunday's regular-slot premiere of "Little Big Shots" ranked #1 for the week in total viewers, averaging 15.0 million persons, making it NBC's most-watched regularly scheduled Sunday entertainment telecast in 11 years.

NBC ranked #1 in 18-49 for five of the week's seven nights, including a tie (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday [tie] and Sunday), the most for NBC during a week without sports in 10 years (since the week of April 12-18, 2004. It matches NBC's most nightly wins in a week without sports since April 29-May 5, 2002, when NBC claimed six of seven, including the night of the network's 75th Anniversary special.

Ranking in the Top 20 primetime shows on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX last week were: Monday's "Voice" (#2), Tuesday's "Voice" (#3), Tuesday's preview of "Little Big Shots" (#4), Sunday's regular-slot debut of "LBS" (#5), Wednesday's "Voice" encore recap (tied for #9), Monday's "Blindspot" (tied for #12) and Sunday's regular-slot premiere of "The Carmichael Show" (tied for #19).

It's NBC first weeklong win in total viewers in three months, since the week of Dec. 7-13. It's also NBC's top-scoring week in 18-49 and total viewers in eight weeks, since Jan. 11-17 (2.6 in 18-49, 9.6 million viewers overall, boosted by a primetime NFL playoff game).

NBC ranked #1 or tied for #1 for the week among the Big 4 networks in every key category - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers -- and matched or improved on the year-ago week in all those key measures.

Season to date, NBC is running within 0.2 of a rating point of #1 behind Super Bowl- and Grammy-boosted CBS in adults 18-49 and is tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-34 and women 18-34.

NBC's total-viewer average of 8.566 million is the network's highest at this point in a season without a SUPER BOWL or Olympic boost since 2006-07 (9.519 million).
