NBC's THE VOICE Retains 97% Week-to-Week in Total Viewers

On a night of pre-holiday distractions and special competition from the "Dancing With the Stars" finale, NBC wins the night among the Big 4 in adults 18-49 and most other key demographics, led by the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49, "This Is Us."

"This Is Us" (2.4/8 in 18-49, 9.0 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET): For a sixth straight telecast, ranks as the #1 entertainment show of the night in 18-49 on the Big 4.

For a fifth straight time, builds on an original "Voice" lead-in in 18-49.

Remains the only scripted show ever to build on an original "Voice" lead-in.

With its first eight episodes, has now delivered the eight highest ratings among all telecasts from the 11 first-year dramas on the Big 4 networks so far this season (L+SD).

Wins the slot among the Big 4 nets in every key demographic despite special competition from the "Dancing With the Stars" finale.

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - in L+3, the prior telecast of "This Is Us" grew by +64% in adults 18-49 (from a 2.56 rating to a 4.21) and +4.1 million viewers overall (9.5 million to 13.6 million) going from L+SD to L+3. The 18-49 lift of 1.65 is the biggest for a Tuesday Big 4 show since Oct. 1, 2013 (the second episode of ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," +1.66).

L+6: Last week's episode is now at a series high in the latest L+6 18-49 results, up +81% to a 4.63 (up from a 2.56 in L+SD), topping the show's prior L+6 high of a 4.62 for the Oct. 11 episode. In total viewers, last week's "Us" is up +4.9 million viewers in L+6, 9.5 million to 14.4 million, placing it behind only the Oct. 11 telecast (14.7 million in L+6).

Upscale: "This Is Us" is delivering a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 137 among adults 18-49 living in $100K+ homes

"Chicago Fire" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 6.4 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET): Beats the 12 10 p.m. dramas of the past week on ABC, CBS or NBC, scoring the top rating among those 10 p.m. dramas since its own 1.5 one week earlier on Nov. 15.

Equals the best any 10 p.m. drama on those nets has done over their last 48 telecasts, dating back to "Fire's" 1.6 on Oct. 25.

Despite special competition from the "Dancing With the Stars" finale maintains +100% week to week in 18-49 (1.5 vs. 1.5).

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - so far this season, "Fire" "Chicago Fire" has grown by +62% +62% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.63 to a 2.64) and 3.7 million viewers overall (7.1 million to 10.8 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

"The Voice" (1.8/7 in 18-49, 9.5 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET): Despite the approaching Thanksgiving holiday, finishes within 0.3 of last week's rating -- on the same night last year, "Voice" declined 0.5 of a point week to week.

In total viewers retains 97% week to week (9.458 million vs. 9.748 million), versus a year-ago 89% retention.

Is matching where the show ended its prior cycle (1.8 vs. 1.8 in the 8-9 p.m. hour during May sweep).

Wins the hour among the Big 4 nets in women 18-49 and women 25-54 and ties for #1 in adults 18-34 and women 18-34

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - So far this season, Tuesday's "Voice" has increased by +26% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 2.94 to a 3.71) and more than 2.3 million viewers overall (11.4 million to 13.7 million).

Upscale: Tuesday's "Voice" is generating a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 111 among adults 18-49 living in $100K+ homes.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.4/6; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.2/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.1/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.3/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 with an encore in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
