NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and "Late Night with Seth Meyers" have won the ratings week of July 20-24 versus their ABC and CBS time-period competition in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key measures. Note that "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "Late Night" and "Late Late Show with James Corden" were in rebroadcast on Friday night.
Fallon outscored ABC's "Kimmel" by an +84% margin in adult 18-49 rating (0.90 vs. 0.49) and CBS's "NCIS" "CBS Summer Showcase" encores by +73% (0.90 vs. 0.52). Meyers beat CBS's "Late Late Show" in 18-49 by a +61% margin (0.45 vs. 0.28) and, in their head-to-head half-hour from 12:30-1 a.m. ET, topped ABC's "Nightline" by +56% (0.53 vs. 0.34 for that half-hour). Fallon topped "Kimmel" and "CBS's "Summer Showcase" encores in all key measures - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers. At 12:35 a.m. ET, Meyers beat "Late Late Show" in every key measure, and in his head-to-head half-hour versus "Nightline" from 12:30-1 a.m., Meyers also prevailed in all key categories.
