"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has dominated the late-night ratings for the week of June 16-20, beating the combined results of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" in adults 18-49.
Fallon's 1.13 rating in 18-49 for the week topped the combined 1.00 of "Kimmel" (0.57) and "Late Show" (0.43). Versus "Tonight's" results for the same week last year, Fallon was up +31% in adult 18-49 rating, to a 1.13 from a 0.86. At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" outscored CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" (with a 0.52 rating vs. a 0.43) despite starting an hour later, and finished the week within 0.05 of a point of "Kimmel" (0.52 vs. 0.57). Note that Friday's Fallon, Letterman, Kimmel and Meyers telecasts were encores. In the 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET slot, Meyers outrated CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" by a +68% margin in 18-49 (0.52 vs. 0.31). Meyers delivered bigger audiences than Ferguson in every key ratings measure and also beat ABC's "Nightline" in their head-to-head half-hour from 12:30-1 a.m. in all key categories.
