NBC's AMERICA'S GOT TALENT is #1 for Tuesday Night

NBC is the #1 network among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX Tuesday night for each Primetime half-hour in adults 18-49, with "America's Got Talent" clearly #1 for the night on those networks but subject to revision, and "The Million Second Quiz" (1.5 at 8 p.m.) the #2 show on those nets.
At 8 p.m. ET, night two of "The Million Second Quiz" (1.5 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) won the 8-9 p.m. time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key measures. "Million Second Quiz" grew from half-hour to half-hour in 18-49 by 7% (to a 1.5 from a 1.4), by 20% in men 18-49 (1.2 vs. 1.0) and by 50% among men 18-34 (0.9 vs. 0.6). "Million Second Quiz" finished within 0.2 of a point or 12% of its premiere rating of the prior night (1.5 vs. 1.7) and within 11% of the premiere result in total viewers (5.811 million vs. 6.516 million). "Million Second Quiz" scored NBC's best 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time period in 12 weeks, since "America's Got Talent" aired there on June 18. From 9 p.m. ET to approximately 9:15, NBC News coverage of President Obama's Address on Syria was sustaining and won't be included in nightlong or weekly ratings averages.In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.5/7, delayed by Presidential address; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.5/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5, delayed by Presidential address. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4, delayed by Presidential address; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/4, delayed by Presidential address.
