NBC's AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR Encore Sees Ratings Growth

An encore telecast of "American Ninja Warrior" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall from 7-9 p.m. ET) grew +14% or a tenth of a rating point versus the show's previous Sunday encore in 18-49 (0.7 on July 27). From its first hour to its second, last night's "Ninja" rebroadcast grew by +50% in 18-49 rating (to a 0.9 from a 0.6) and by +15% in total viewers (3.2 million vs. 2.8 million).

The "American Ninja Warrior" rebroadcast rose to #2 for its second hour from 8-9 p.m. in 18-49 among the Big 4 networks, with a 0.9 rating that hour, ahead of original competition on ABC ("Wipeout," 0.8) and FOX ("Teen Choice Awards," 0.7 that hour).

A rebroadcast "America's Got Talent" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) generated NBC's top 18-49 rating in the slot since June 29, excluding sports, and biggest overall audience in the time period, excluding sports, since an original "Talent" aired there on June 22. Versus a 7-9 p.m. encore on the same night last year (0.5/2 in 18-49, 2.350 million viewers overall from 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013), last night's "Talent" rebroadcast is up +80% in 18-49 and up +51% or 1.2 million persons in total viewers.
