NBCUniversal announced today that Ndidi Oriji has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President, Advertising Standards. Ndidi reports to Alan Wurtzel, President Research and Media Development.
In her role as Senior Vice President of Advertising Standards at NBCUniversal, Ms. Oriji will lead a department tasked with the review of all advertising airing on the NBC broadcast network, certain advertising airing on NBCUniversal's 15 national cable networks (including USA, Bravo, and SyFy), and all custom advertising content produced by the broadcast network. Ms. Oriji will also manage legal and reputational risk to NBCUniversal when advertising standards issues arise, and formulate policy. Prior to her current role, Ms. Oriji was counsel in the NBCUniversal West Coast Entertainment group and also held the role of counsel in the NBCUniversal Intellectual Property group. Before joining NBCUniversal, Ms. Oriji served in PRIVATE PRACTICE specializing in the areas of entertainment, advertising, marketing and corporate mergers and acquisitions.Videos
