NBCUniversal Announces KNOW YOUR VALUE Tour Dates & Speakers

Today the NBCUniversal News Group and Mika Brzezinski, the co-host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe," announced new details of their upcoming "Know Your Value" nationwide tour, including the dates of THE FIVE initial live workshop events, the start of ticket sales for each event, and the launch of a new interactive contest, which will allow women the chance to enter and win $10,000 to further their lives and careers.

Last month, NBCUniversal and Brzezinski unveiled this new partnership which builds on Brzezinski's New York Times bestselling book and brand "Knowing Your Value." The tour, which will be part of a full-year program, will begin in Philadelphia on April 10th at the Loews Hotel; Washington, D.C. on May 15th at the Marriott Marquis; Chicago on September 25th; Boston on October 23rd; and Orlando on November 20th. Venue locations for the latter dates will be released in the coming weeks.

These "Know Your Value" live events will feature a dynamic lineup of guest speakers, including Brooke Shields; Valerie Jarrett; André Leon Talley, former editor-at-large of Vogue; U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA); U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO); Hoda Kotb, co-host of the fourth hour of NBC's "TODAY"; Joe Scarborough, co-host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" and NBC News Senior Political Analyst; Alex Wagner, host of MSNBC's "NOW with Alex Wagner"; Thomas Roberts, host of "MSNBC Live with Thomas Roberts"; Nicolle Wallace, co-host of "The View" and former White House Communications Director; Katty Kay, lead anchor for "BBC World News America"; and TV Personality Donny Deutsch. From negotiating for promotions to redefining body language - each of these workshops will provide tangible advice to help women attain a higher level of confidence and ultimately achieve success. Additional guest speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Before each day-long event, women across the country will be given an opportunity to enter the "Grow Your Value Bonus Competition" on msnbc.com/knowyourvalue. CONTEST entrants must submit a form and upload a 60-second video explaining to Brzezinski why they deserve a $10,000 bonus. Brzezinski and a panel of judges will choose three finalists at each "Know Your Value" conference, for a total of 15 people, who will have the opportunity to appear onstage at the event to pitch their story to the judges, live audience and viewers across NBC platforms.

Finalists will receive professional coaching from Brzezinski and a group of experts, and will be awarded prizes from "Know Your Value" company sponsors, including admission to the Corporate Athlete® course, an energy management and health & wellness course at the Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute in Orlando, courtesy of presenting partner Johnson & Johnson; round-trip transportation courtesy of airline partner JetBlue; and wardrobe consultation courtesy of fashion partner MILLY®.

Five grand prize winners will be selected-one from each conference-to receive $10,000.

The submission period for the "Grow Your Value Bonus Competition" in the Philadelphia market begins today, Monday, March 2nd at 12:00 A.M. ET and ends on Sunday, March 22nd at 11:59:59 P.M. ET.
