NBC to Preview New Comedy A.P. BIO This February; Pushes Back Return of THIS IS US

NBC will present a preview for its new comedy series A.P. BIO on February 1st at 9:30 PM ET/PT, following WILL & GRACE, according to Deadline. It will then return in its regular time slot on Thursday, March 1st, following the network's coverage of the Winter Olympic Games. The show hails from SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE writer Mike O'Brien, and Lorne Michaels as well as former SNL cast member Seth Meyers.

The network also announced that its hit drama series THIS IS US will return from its winter hiatus on Tuesday, January 9 at 9 PM, a week later than initially scheduled.

When disgraced Harvard philosophy scholar Jack Griffin (Glenn Howerton) loses out on his dream job, he is forced to return to Toledo, Ohio, and work as a high school Advanced Placement biology teacher. As he comes crashing in to Whitlock High School, Jack makes it absolutely clear he will not be teaching any biology. Realizing he has a room full of honor roll students at his disposal, Jack decides instead to use the kids for his own benefit. Eager to prove that he is still king of the castle, Principal Durbin (Patton Oswalt) struggles to control the force of nature that is Jack Griffin.

Mary Sohn, Lyric Lewis, Jean Villepique, Jacob McCarthy and Tom Bennett also star.
"A.P. Bio" is written and executive produced by Mike O'Brien. Lorne Michaels, Seth Meyers, Andrew Singer and Mike Shoemaker also serve as executive producers.
