NBC UNIVERSO, the modern sports and entertainment cable channel for Latinos, today announced it will air live the Premier League Asia Trophy Finals featuring Everton vs. Arsenal today, July 18 at 8:20 a.m. ET / 5:20 a.m. PT.

Everton beat Stoke City 5-4 on penalty kicks after regular time had ended goalless on Wednesday to earn its trip to the finals this Saturday. Everton captain Phil Jagielka converted the decisive spot kick after Stoke City's Marco van Ginkel had an earlier penalty saved by Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard. Arsenal's Chuba Akpom netted a hat trick against the Singapore Select XI earlier this week to carry his club to a 4-0 victory and help it advance to the finals.

The Premier League Asia Trophy (also known as the Barclay's Asia Trophy for sponsorship reasons) has been held biennially since 2003 and is the only Premier League-affiliated competition to take place outside England. Everton earned a fourth-place finish in 2005. Arsenal has not competed in this tournament prior to this year.
