NBC Takes Monday Among Big 4 Led By No. 1 Show of the Night, THE VOICE

NBC finishes #1 Monday night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, led by the #1 show of the night on those nets, THE VOICE NBC has now ranked #1 or tied for #1 among those nets for the last four nights in a row (Friday through Monday).

"The Voice" (1.7/6 in 18-49, 8.8 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) is extremely close to rounding up to a 1.8 in 18-49 (currently reporting a 1.748 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings). Wins the time period in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key demos. Is the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49. Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD: Last week's "Voice" increased by +22% in 18-49 (from a 1.89 rating to a 2.30) and +1.4 million viewers overall (9.3 million to 10.7 million) going from "live plus same day" Nielsens to L+3. It was the night's biggest L+3 lift in total viewers. So far this season, "The Voice" is growing by +26% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 2.50 to a 3.16) and +2.0 million viewers overall (10.9 million to 12.9 million). Upscale: Monday's "The Voice" is delivering a strong upscale audience this season, indexing at a 115 among adults 18-49 in $100K+ homes (with 100 representing an average concentration of those homes).

"Taken" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET): Versus this week's return of original competition from CBS' "Scorpion," plus high-rated NBA Playoff coverage on TNT, maintains 100% week to week in 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.8). Is currently growing week to week by +9% in adults 25-54 (1.2 vs. 1.1) and +2% in total viewers (4.536 million vs. 4.426 million), pending updates. Ranks #2 in the timeslot among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults, men and women 18-49; adults, men and women 25-54: and total viewers. Will add significant viewership via time-shifting and VOD - so far this season, "Taken" has increased by +31% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 1.08 to a 1.42) and +1.9 million viewers overall (5.4 million to 7.3 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.0/5; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.5/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/3; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
