NBC Sports Washington To Provide Comprehensive Coverage Of Wizards-Raptors First Round NBA Playoffs

NBC Sports Washington (NBCSW) will provide comprehensive, multiplatform coverage of the Washington Wizards' 2018 first-round playoff series against the Toronto Raptors, beginning with Game 1 on Saturday, April 14, at 5:30 p.m. NBC Sports Washington's live-game coverage, along with pregame and postgame shows, will continue to be available on NBCSportsWashington.com and the NBC Sports app during the playoffs.

NBCSW will surround all seven potential first-round games with comprehensive pre-game and post-game studio shows each game night. The network's playoff coverage starts this Friday with a special Wizards Playoff Preview at 7 p.m.

LIVE GAME COVERAGE

NBC Sports Washington's live coverage of the series will begin with Game 1 on Saturday April 14, at 5:30 p.m. at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada. Play-by-play announcer Steve Buckhantz, analyst Kara Lawson and reporter Chris Miller will continue to lead NBCSW's live game coverage in the postseason.

GAMEDAY SHOWS

NBC Sports Washington will surround all seven potential first-round games with 2.5 hours of live Wizards news, analysis, commentary and entertainment.Wizards HangTime will be presented one hour prior to tipoff leading into a half-hour-long pregame show Wizards GameTime. Immediately following the games, Wizards Overtime will extend postgame coverage for up to an hour following Wizards Extra.

The Wizards GameTime pregame show and Wizards Extra postgame show will be hosted by Julie Donaldson, and will feature analyst Tony Massenburg, as well as Wizards legend Phil Chenier and other contributors and special guests. Wizards HangTime and Wizards Overtime will be hosted by Travis Thomas, with guest analysts including Chris Miles and Christy Winters Scott.
