NBC Picks Up GAME OF SILENCE Thriller Pilot

Variety writes that NBC has picked up a fourth drama pilot for its upcoming season -- the thriller GAME OF SILENCE, based on the Turkish series of the same name.

GAME OF SILENCE centers on "a successful rising attorney who could lose it all when his long-lost childhood friends threaten to expose a dark, violent secret from their past."
Carol Mendelsohn (CSI) is producing with Julie Weitz and David Hudgins (Parenthood, Friday Night Lights). Hudgins is writing the pilot episode.
The original Turkish series SUNSKUNLAR debuted in 2012 and was based on Lorenzo Carcaterra's 1995 novel SLEEPERS.
