NBC Orders Supernatural Pilot from Creator of EUREKA

The creator of EUREKA is partnering with NBC.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has ordered a supernatural pilot from Andrew Cosby titled STRANGE FICTION. Cosby is also set to write and executive produce.

The project "blends humor, heart and horror and centers on a young book editor drawn into the world of the supernatural by a reclusive and quite possibly insane paranormal investigator."

EUREKA ended its five-season run on Syfy last year.

The series was set in what seemed to be any other cozy, Pacific Northwest town, but is actually a secret community of geniuses assembled by the government to conduct top-secret research. What they've unwittingly created is a place where anything imaginable can happen... and does. The series stars Colin Ferguson, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Joe Morton, Erica Cerra, Neil Grayston, and Niall Matter. Co-creator Jaime Paglia and Bruce Miller are Executive Producers. The series is produced and distributed by Universal Cable Productions.
