NBC NIGHTLY NEWS WITH LESTER HOLT ranked #1 in the demo for the week of July 31, averaging 1.6 million A25-54 viewers, leading "ABC World News Tonight" by +109,000 viewers (+7%) and "CBS Evening News" by +447,000 viewers (+37%). Nightly News has now ranked #1 in A25-54 for 59 consecutive weeks. Furthermore, Nightly News grew across all demos week over week and improved its A25-54 lead over ABC compared to last week.

Nightly News averaged 1.2 million A18-49 viewers for the week, topping ABC by +114,000 viewers (+11%) and CBS by +381,000 viewers (+47%). Among the A18-49 demographic, Nightly News has won 104 of the last 105 weeks.

Nightly News averaged 7.4 million total viewers for the week of July 31, leading CBS EVENING NEWS by +1.7 million (+30%). Nightly News' advantage over CBS was its best win in 25 weeks.

Nightly News holds its largest key demo lead over CBS in three seasons. Compared to last season, Nightly News' demo lead over CBS is up +12%.
