Mike Myers to Star in Netflix Comedy Series

Netflix has ordered a half-hour limited comedy series produced by and starring Mike Myers, in which he plays multiple characters.

Quote from Mike Myers spoke about the news saying, "I love creating characters, and Netflix has given me a fantastic playground to play in."

The six episode series will be executive produced by Myers, along with John Lyons and Jason Weinberg. Mackenzie Cyr and Justin Capraro-Gentuso will associate produce.

Myers began his career on "Saturday Night Live," where he created characters like Wayne Campbell of "Wayne's World," "Sprockets" host Dieter, and Lothar of the Hill People. After SNL, Myers had a successful film career, including starring in "Wayne's World," "Austin Powers" and the "Shrek" film franchises.
